Enhancing Comments with TrackBack.

There has been some interesting discussion over at Sam Ruby's weblog about how to track and enhance comment threads. RSS, publish-and-subscribe mechanisms, instant messaging (IM) and TrackBack all have entered into the conversation.

Sam has now Trackback enabled his non-MovableType (MT) weblog in furthering the discussion. I also noticed that recently Rael Dornfest and Rajesh Jain added TrackBack to their weblogs.

I'm glad to see this type of experimentation final starting. I've always thought that TrackBack was quite an interesting and novel idea that deserved further experimentation and consideration. I've been a bit disappointed that its taken this long to start up. I'm getting over that now.
